About Us

Who we are:

Night Nannies need to have excellent childcare-related qualifications or extensive newborn experience. These include (but are not restricted to)

  • Midwifery/pediatric/neonatal qualifications
  • Certified Postpartum Doula training (via Binah Baby)

They will also have undertaken a recent pediatric first aid course and will possess an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau certificate.

The Agency interviews the Nannies personally and will then talk to previous employers and referees and all professional qualifications are checked. However, the Agency strongly advises parents to make their own enquiries and checks to satisfy themselves as to the suitability and experience of the Nanny.

The agency invests significantly in the ongoing professional development of the team. To this end, Nannies are offered free workshops in breastfeeding, first aid, post natal depression, reflux and colic and nutrition.

Additionally, Night Nannies are encouraged to attend the Sleep Training course, held by Night Nanny International, currently awaiting unversity and hospital accreditation, taught by Dr. Shoshanan Kesner of Binah Baby.
